Happy Thanksgiving

 

I wish each of you a very Happy Thanksgiving today and hope you have a wonderful time with friends and family. I will be in the hospital on call the next 24 hours, but I am thankful for the opportunity to impact people's lives today. I would rather be with family, but being on call is the nature of my job.

Remember to take time to sit and remember what God has done and give thanks to Him. I encourage you to share this with those who are in your presence today, even though it is not easy to do. We don't do this enough as believers and should do it more often.

"Give thanks to the LORD, call on his name; make known among the nations what he has done. Sing to him, sing priase to him; tell of all his wonderful acts. Glory in his holy name; let the hearts of those who seek the LORD rejoice. Look to the LORD and his strength; seek his face always. Remember the wonders he has done, his miracles, and the judgements he pronounced" 1 Chronicles 16:8-12
