Catch of the Day

Here is proof of Ronnie (jason's dad) and his latest catch. This is a whopping 15-lb. catfish caught on a weenie-baited yo-yo in DeQueen Lake. If you want to know what a weenie-baited yo-yo is, I can give you all the details. (and no, it's not my new nickname for jason) Ronnie said this one fish would be the equivalent of about $40 worth at the Catfish Hole. Unfortunately, catfish has been on the bottom of my list during pregnancy, so I just couldn't partake in the feast later that night. But props to Ronnie & Jason for their fishing skillz & strategic placement of their weenie-baited yo-yo's.
Jason thought he was being funny by taking a picture of my belly vs. the catfish belly. I was unaware of what was going on until I saw the way Ronnie was holding it, belly out. I think I've got that fish beat by a longshot. I would hope so, since the fish is not supposed to be pregnant.
