A River Runs Through It

Not the movie, our back yard today. We got so much rain that I really thought about kayaking in our back yard. That is until I saw a snake. There is usually nothing but grass and weeds where you see the water above. It was quite amazing. Crazy thing is, we are still getting more rain!

We are still not in our house. Seems our contractor has a different time table than us. Thankfully, we have parents we can stay with until....tomorrow he says we will be in. Please say a prayer that he will work all night and all day so we can get in. This is getting old. It is just a house, though. But it is still getting old...not staying with the parents, but not being in our house. More to come and pictures as soon as we move in.
