How much is gas where you are?

We went to Fayetteville this weekend and had a great time seeing old friends and spending time with family. The Razorback game was good, but a bit boring at times. One of the things I couldn't believe was how much of a difference the price in gas was from DeQueen to Fayetteville. I got progressively more and more expensive as we drove north. Gas in DeQueen was $2.66/gal and was $3.06/gal in Fayetteville. So how much is it where you live?

It was $2.79 in Siloam Springs and it ranged from $2.87-2.99 in Tulsa. It makes absolutely no sense.

I get so mad when I drive down to LR for the weekend... it's 30 cents cheaper in Russellville than here, so I usually just put enough in my tank to get me there and then fill 'er up. Apparently they say it's because we get our gas from different store houses, and thus the difference since there's a difference in the price of storing oil. I'm not convinced it's not because of socio-economic reasons.

Gas in Texarkana, TX today was $2.58. Gas in Texarkana, AR today was $2.79.
Less than 5 miles between the stations. Go figure.
