Oaklee Kimberling Lofton

Isaiah 61:3
" They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the LORD for the display of his splendor"

She is here. Born at 6:39 pm weighing in at 7lbs 11.8 oz and measuring 20 inches. Mom and baby are doing good.

The name Oaklee is derived from the above verse. We spelled it different than the sunglasses because we didn't want people to think of the sunglasses when they saw her name.

Kimberling was her mother's maiden name but her favorite grandmother's last name. Granny passed away two years ago.

We appreciate your prayers and will continue to update with photos.

I can't begin to express my joy at this moment. It's such a gift to see Momma Cindy and your beautiful Oaklee. I'm overwhelmed and so happy for the whole family. Congratulations to you, I can't wait to meet the newest Lofton. By the way, a perfect name - a verse to keep through the years and a loving tribute to Granny.
    Love you guys - Jules

Congratulations jlo and cindyloo on the new addition. I truly love the name, and the Kimberling tribute was a genuine act of loving kindness that will last for generations. My eyes are tearing thinking about Mom holding Oaklee.
You both have brought a sense of peace and happiness in my life, as an uncle and now as a great uncle.
I'll always remember this night and her birthday!

Dear Cindy & Jason - I am so proud
of both of you for presenting my
Great Granddaughter in living color. She has a nice new born "red" look. Even more exciting
is the new born name. Oaklee is a

guess couldn't have been more wrong. I love you both & the Man
upstairs for blessing you with such
    a precious treasure.
