Back in Tegu

Well, I am back in Tegucigalpa and have a free day. Usually I "have to" get all the sites in...but today, I am going to chill. May try to find a B&N, may just sit by the porch. The trip was good. Met some really neat people, both from the states and from Honduras. I don´t have a lot of internet time now, but I will post more later with pics, I hope.

Wanted to put up the words to a new song I learned from Mike Mitchell, my roommate on the trip. He call´s it "The Mountain Song"

O Lord I thought the day would never come
When I could lay my burdens down and walk with you
This morning as I greet the rising sun
The fondest of my dreams have all come true

And the greatest friend you´ll ever find is on the lonely mountain
The highest high you´ll ever reach is when you kneel to pray
The brightest light you´ll ever see is when you close your eyes
O Lord you are my first love, at last I realize

O Lord I need a mountain to climb on
Just a quiet place to go and know your there
O Lord I need to spend some time with you
Jesus spent the night with you in prayer

And the greatest friend you´ll ever find is on the lonely mountain
The highest high you´ll ever reach is when you kneel to pray
The brightest light you´ll ever see is when you close your eyes
O Lord you are my first love, at last I realize
And the greatest friend you´ll ever find is on the lonely mountain
The highest high you´ll ever reach is when you kneel to pray
The brightest light you´ll ever see is when you close your eyes
O Lord you are my first love, at last I realize
O Lord you are my first love, at last I realize.

Thanks Mike for sharing that with us!

Cindy, I can not wait to see you.

Grant, maybe you can put the above to a guitar? Got some things about the trip to hash out with you when I get back.

I, for one, am glad that the good doctor is back in NWA and donating money from other countries to the Grove. It just makes me laugh. I got to find a place to get some Russian Rubles.

Yes, I have been having fun contributing my money from other countries to the Grove. I sort of thought they might start a money wall like they do at La Huerta's to see where all of our people have gone on trips. I mean no harm to Dave at all, but it is rather funny.

I do think you can go to the bank and ask for money from certain countries. I may be wrong, but wouldn't it be fun to pick a different country every week to pray for then put money in the offering plate from that country?
