What's in a Name?

So, we mentioned earlier that we were having a contest to see who could guess the name of our child. It has sort of fizzled out so we wanted to restart it.

The Rules:
I know it is hard, but we want the first and middle name.
We won't tell until the child is born.
It must be a girls name.

The Clues:
It is a girls name.
It is Biblically based.
It is a name you have heard before, possibly.

The Prize:
$50
UPDATE! UPDATE! Ronnie Lofton has upped the ante and has offered to allow the winner, if there is one, to name his next batch of wine, due about the same time as our child. Now, if that is not incentive enough, I don't know what is.

The guesses so far:
Sarah-Grace
Jamie-Clo Jr
Frese-Eleanor
Stu-Mercedes Sofia
Lindsey-Hannah Kay

Now, we don't consider the contest to officially have started until today, so you may change them if already submitted. Once submitted from this time on, your entry will be final.

I'd hope you're bold enough to name her Jael Sarah. Jael is a rockin' chick from Judges. She drove a tent peg through a dudes head. Gotta respect that! The name Jael means "ascends".

Olivia (olive tree) Ruth (yes, Ruth) Lofton. I'd like to say Olivia Kay but CK may not agree... I do love Eden Grace. Wow. I can't wait to be introduced!

Wow, we are having some great guesses. Someone could be right, then again, maybe not. Who knows? Only 9 more weeks to go!

Cindy has another OB appt. today with Dr. Greathouse in Texarkana. Please be in prayer for a healthy baby to continue to develop.

Thanks for all the replies so far. It has been fun reading names and seeing how close people are.

I'd like to throw out there Rebeka Grace Lofton. Now, when we I win and get to name the wine do I get a bottle as well?

Mandy and I almost named our first girl Eden Grace, so I do like that name. Now...I am a fan of alliteration, so I was thinking about Biblical "l" words...I first thought Laodicea Lofton, but I have never heard that name, so that can't be it...then I thought Lebanon Lofton, but there again I haven't heard it before. Thus my guess is Lydia Grace Lofton.

    Wow.

We have been impressed with some of the choices. Please keep it up.

And yes, if anyone wins they get a bottle of wine.

And it was hinted that someone in Little Rock was throwing in a round of golf at Chenal Country Club. More to come on this.

Alright, after much consideration, (actually too much since this isn't even my own daughter), I would guess - even though it's probably more of a suggestion as I don't have much confidence in my guess as being correct - that the name is...Emma Jubilee Lofton. Emma means "God is with us," and Jubilee means "shout for joy."

This is Gwen from HWF. My guess is Israel Elizabeth

So, when is the contest over? In other words, when are you due, Cindy? How are you feeling? We have our appt. at the US embassy on Monday to get Jacob's passport so he can cross the border with us next month. Please pray everything goes smoothly. Sorry, we haven't been inspired yet with any names. Dan & Angelica
